The AHOPE Day Center serves over 1,000 individuals each year that are experiencing unsheltered homelessness or are currently living in a homeless shelter. The day center is open 8am to 1pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. It is open Wednesdays 8am to 11am.
The AHOPE Day center aims to meet individuals basic needs such as food, showers, mail service, bathroom access, and access to lockers. Additionally, AHOPE is an entry point for coordinated entry case management to help individuals find and maintain stable housing.
The AHOPE Day Center is in need of volunteers from 7:45am to 2pm Monday - Friday.
Tasks included, but are not limited to:
- Serving food and coffee
- Washing dishes
- Giving out mail / packages
- Helping case managers run the front desk
- Handing out toiletries and helping with locker access
- Cleaning the facility throughout services and after services
- Administrative tasks
- Entry of mail into digitized mail system
- Supply pick up and drop offs

It is not advised to park on the street unless you are dropping off donations and will only be there a short time. You risk being ticketed or side swiped by fast driving cars down the small road.
