Sometimes the most powerful gift you can give is your presence.

We are seeking Hospice Patient Visitor Volunteers to provide companionship and emotional support to patients facing serious illness. As a visitor volunteer, you may spend time talking, listening, reading, sharing music, or simply sitting quietly with a patient—offering comfort and connection during an important time in their life.

No medical care is involved. Just kindness, patience, and a willingness to be present.

What You’ll Do:

• Offer friendly visits and companionship to hospice patients
• Listen and provide emotional support
• Help reduce loneliness and bring comfort
• Visit patients in their homes or care facilities (based on preference)

• Training and orientation
• Ongoing support from hospice staff
• Flexible scheduling
• A deeply meaningful volunteer experience

Who We’re Looking For:

• Compassionate, reliable adults (18+)
• Good listeners with a caring heart
• No healthcare experience required

Time Commitment:

Flexible — as little as 1–2 hours per week or month
