A variety of volunteer opportunities exist for folks who love the outdoors and want to help our non-profit complete everything from everyday tasks (such as checking the trails, staffing the visitor's center) to more elaborate tasks (creating, maintaining, and/or upgrading exhibits). We also need folks who are good with people to represent our organization at onsite and offsite events- generally one day (4-8 hrs)- to help spread the word about what we do and provide a bit of environmental education too.
Those who have an educational history who are looking for ways to help, can consider becoming a educator for our youth programs. This option requires flexibility, knowledge of pedagogy and Florida's natural resources.
