Volunteer Web Designer (WordPress & CSS)

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Volunteer Web Designer who is comfortable working with WordPress and has strong skills in HTML/CSS. In this role, you will support our team in designing, enhancing, and maintaining our website to ensure an engaging, user-friendly digital presence for our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and update website pages using WordPress (themes, templates, page builders).
• Customize website appearance through CSS and basic HTML.
• Improve the visual identity and user experience across all pages.
• Collaborate with our team to translate concepts, ideas, and content into attractive layouts.
• Ensure responsive design across desktop and mobile devices.
• Optimize page structure, navigation, and overall usability.
• Maintain consistency with brand style guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with WordPress (themes, plugins, page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg).
• Solid knowledge of CSS and HTML.
• Strong sense of design, layout, and visual communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage small tasks on your own.
• Attention to detail and willingness to iterate and improve designs.
