Location: in-person at La Verne, California

Description:

The Cooking Class Workshop Leader will lead a 1-hour cooking class at the Restoration House for our residents to prepare healthy, delicious meals. The workshop leader will prepare new recipes, buy all necessary ingredients, and come to our Restoration House ready to teach our residents!

Requirements:

• Volunteer chef or someone with a passion for cooking

• Ability to teach and interact with a diverse client population in a respectful manner.

• Commitment to our organization's missions and values.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Time Commitment:  

• One shift a week (1 hour) on Mondays or Tuesdays at 6 PM PST 

  • We hope to have a minimum of one volunteer every week. Shifts may vary depending on the number of volunteers accrued.
