We practice communication-based lessons to improve students' confidence and communicative ability through a dynamic combination of onboard classwork, language-based events and activities, and exchange programs in ports of call. Students can acquire the necessary language skills to make their voyage memorable and meaningful. The program allows teachers to work with great autonomy, using their creativity in and out of the classroom while enjoying the unique Peace Boat experience.

Basic requirements: 18 months of relevant full-time experience teaching English and Spanish as a second language. Be highly advanced speakers of English or Spanish. Note: it is not necessary to be a 'native' or 'first-language' speaker. Be available for the voyage (including online training and pre-voyage orientation periods).
