HOUSE CHORES FOR HOSPICE PATIENTS

Help hospice patients wishing to spend their remaining days at home, do so while ensuring their homes stay clean, organized, and a loving space.

Spring clean-up, mowing grass, raking leaves, shoveling snow, changing a light bulb, once simple, everyday tasks, can become arduous and unsafe for hospice patients and overwhelm families providing care.

Whether you are part of a group looking for a single day project, or you are an individual able to commit to helping more often, Homeland Hospice welcomes your service and time. We will do our best to match you with the right project to benefit a patient and their family.

We service 14 counties (Mifflin, Juniata, Snyder, Northumberland, Perry, Dauphin, Schuylkill, Cumberland, Lebanon, Fulton, Franklin, Adams, York, Lancaster) and most interest would be in Perry, Cumberland, Dauphin, and York.

• *Light housekeeping supplies (ex. dust rags, dust cleaner) can be provided by Homeland Hospice to the volunteer. Vacuums, shovels, and other larger items would need to be provided by the volunteer or patient/patient's family.**
