Volunteer Tutors Needed! 1 Hr/Wk • In-Person or Online

Do you want to make a difference in another person’s life through education? Join our team of volunteer tutors and be a force for good!

The Nashua Adult Learning Center is seeking tutors (18+) for English Second Language and Adult Basic Education students (high school equivalency or foundational skills).

• No teaching experience needed; we provide training and materials
• Set your own availability (minimum 1 hour per week)
• Tutoring can be in person or online
• 6-month commitment appreciated

We help:

• Our students include immigrants learning English and adults preparing for their High School Equivalency. By volunteering just one hour a week, you can help someone communicate confidently, improve basic reading or math skills, and build a better future for themselves and their families. No teaching experience or extra language skills required; we provide training and materials. All you need is patience, consistency, and a desire to help.
