Holiday Cheer Volunteer – Calls & Gift Delivery

Bring comfort and connection to hospice patients during the holiday season. Holiday Cheer Volunteers make a simple phone call ahead of time to let patients and families know they’ll be stopping by with a seasonal gift. Volunteers then deliver ornaments and small comfort items, offering a few minutes of companionship during the visit.

This role combines meaningful interaction with patients and families while helping spread holiday warmth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holiday ornaments and comfort items to patients.
• Provide a brief, supportive visit, offering a smile, listening ear, or warm words.
• Document visit notes as directed by the Volunteer Coordinator.
