    Organization: CrowdDoing

    Location: Remote (Global)

    Role Type: Volunteer Leadership

    Role Overview

CrowdDoing is seeking a strategic and highly organized Program Manager to oversee the execution and integration of our high-impact social innovation initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and operations, ensuring that various projects—ranging from Community Pilots to global sustainability tools—are aligned with our organizational mission. You will be responsible for managing complex cross-functional dependencies, maintaining program roadmaps, and ensuring that all stakeholders are moving toward a unified goal.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Oversight & Roadmap Management

    • Program Alignment: Ensure all project activities across the portfolio (e.g., Wildfire Prevention, Sustainability Tools) align with the broader organizational strategy and GTM goals.
    • Roadmap Development: Create and maintain high-level program roadmaps that visualize milestones, resource allocation, and key deliverables.
    • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify bottlenecks or risks across various workstreams and develop contingency plans to keep programs on track.

    Cross-Functional Coordination

    • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary bridge between technical teams (IT/Product), marketing, and external partners (e.g., UN, ARISE-US).
    • Agile Integration: Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure that individual sprint cycles contribute effectively to the overarching program objectives.
    • Communication: Facilitate regular "sync" meetings and provide executive-level status reports that are simple, crisp, and compelling.

    Process Optimization

    • Standardization: Develop and implement standardized project management templates and workflows to improve efficiency across the volunteer network.
    • Impact Tracking: Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and scalability of Community Pilots and partner programs.

    Qualifications

    • Experience: Proven experience in Program Management, Project Management, or a senior Operations role. Experience in a global or remote-first environment is highly preferred.
    • Education: MBA or PMP certification is a significant advantage, reflecting a strong grasp of both business logic and formal project management methodologies.
    • Strategic Mindset: Ability to see the "big picture" while maintaining a sharp eye for the technical and operational details that drive a program forward.
    • Tools: Proficiency in project management software such as Jira, Asana, or Monday.com, and collaborative tools like Miro.
    • Communication: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

    What’s in it for you?

    • Lead Systemic Change: Orchestrate programs that address some of the world's most urgent environmental and social challenges.
    • Executive Exposure: Work directly with leadership to shape the future of CrowdDoing’s service offerings and digital products.
    • Global Networking: Collaborate with a diverse group of professionals from top-tier academic and technical backgrounds.
