Kids Movement Instructor

Do you have a passion to show children how to use their bodies to express feelings, release stress, and regulate their emotions? This is the perfect opportunity for you. The Light House provides classes to help children in foster care learn how to use their bodies in a safe way of expressing their emotions. Instructors will be needing to be able to provide instruction, but also to understand the behaviors behind the emotions they are dealing with. Being Trauma informed is a plus, but can be trained. A volunteer helper will be provided for each class and most classes will be around 10 children.

Kids movement includes elements of boxing, stretching, running, body awareness, and sensory activities. Circulium will be provided if needed. Kids age ranges from 8 and up. All supplies will be provided for classes for instructor and children. Classes will be every other week for an hour and a half. Location will be determined soon, but will be in Denver.
