Saturday Writing Program Reception and Support

Legal Outreach, Inc. is a college preparatory organization that serves students from under-resourced communities in New York City. We use the law to attract and motivate students to succeed. Through our four-year college-bound program, we provide students with the necessary tools to achieve at high academic levels and gain the confidence and social skills to pursue their professional goals.

Our Saturday Writing Program is one of thirteen programs through which we equip students with academic skills that will help them increase their grades and put them in a better position to improve their academic profile. Students attend writing classes on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

We are seeking a volunteer that can help with reception duties, including greeting students/families in the morning, answering the phone, and monitoring the hall for bathroom usage.

Day: Saturdays

Hours: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m

This opportunity is ideal for those who enjoy engaging with high school students and want to be a part of making a difference in a young person's life.

No degree required; just a positive attitude and personable personality.
