Volunteers are the heart of the hospice team. We depend on our hospice volunteers to help us provide the extra love and care our patients and their families need at this time in their life. Volunteers typically visit patients for companionship a few times per month, and they may also sit vigil at the bedside as their patient declines. This is a very rewarding and flexible opportunity that allows volunteers to make their own schedule. Volunteers are currently needed in Allegheny, Beaver, Bulter and Washington Counties. After an application and screening process, volunteers will receive thorough training. Please consider helping us bring friendship and comfort to local patients during their final chapter of life.
