Our Patient Companion Volunteers offer kindness, attention and thoughtful support to hospice patients and family members at a time when it means the most. Make weekly one-hour visits to provide a caring presence, ease loneliness, share stories and laughs, help with enjoyable activities, and remind folks that they are not alone on their end-of-life journey. Volunteers mean so much to our patients and families!
We offer training and ongoing support to ensure that you feel comfortable in your work as a valued member of our Hospice Team. We service the areas of Overland Park, Lenexa, Shawnee, Olathe and Gardner.
