Looking for Compassionate and Reliable Volunteers to Join our Supportive Team at Gentiva Hospice!

Hello Everyone!

We are looking to add compassionate and friendly Volunteers to our Gentiva Care Team in Brewer, Maine. Rest assured, you will not be an island! You'll be part of an incredibly caring and responsive Team with a mission that you will help support and that is to provide our Hospice patients and their families with exceptional care, so that they may live with comfort, dignity, and respect. You will be making a huge difference in the lives of others when it truly matters most...

Whether you enjoy helping out in the office with various administrative tasks or getting out there with patients and families to provide care and companionship, we have a place for you!

Please note: You do not need a medical background to serve patients as a Direct Care Volunteer in the community. The only requirement is that you love to help people and you're willing to learn more about Hospice through the free trainings (with food!) that we provide.

As far as your availability is concerned, we will take whatever you can offer, and we are THANKFUL FOR YOU!

As far as location is concerned, we are looking for Volunteers who would be willing to visit patients within homes and facilities in the following cities/towns: Bangor, Brewer, Orono, Old Town, Dover-Foxcroft, Garland, Ellsworth, Lincoln, Belfast, etc.
