Help remove invasive blackberry and feed it to the goats! Volunteers can learn to identify invasive and native species, visit with our new baby goats, and join us for free snacks afterward. Kid friendly.
Our driveway is at the south end of the Tryon Creek State Natural Area parking lot roughly opposite Coronado St. Drive down the driveway and park in the spaces on your left. There is a bike rack just beyond the parking spaces. Parking is limited and biking encouraged. We will meet at the Outdoor Kitchen, just downhill from the parking area.
We recommend wearing thick, thorn-resistant clothes and shoes and bringing a water bottle. We have gloves onsite, but you may wish to bring your own, suitable for grabbing thorns. We have tools onsite, but feel free to bring your own favorite blackberry-tackling tools.
