About Us:
Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving California and Mexico. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome sick, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats. We also provide spay and neuter services through local clinic partnerships and promote responsible pet ownership within our communities.
Role Summary:
As our volunteer Content Writer & Creator, you will help craft our voice across various platforms. Responsibilities include:
- Writing blog posts, email newsletters, and rescue stories
- Creating social media captions that are clear, warm, and inspiring
- Writing compelling pet bios to help animals get adopted
- Ensuring a consistent, positive, and heartfelt tone in all content
- Collaborating with the team to brainstorm ideas and gather updates
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong writing and storytelling skills
- Passion for animals and a heart for rescue work
- Ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms
- Reliable, self-motivated, and open to feedback
- Experience with content creation or digital marketing is a plus
