Share of Your Heart and Your Time: Be a Hospice Companion Volunteer! - Wind Gap, PA

At The Care Team Hospice, our volunteers provide one of the greatest gifts imaginable: time, presence, and compassion. As a companionship volunteers, you’ll visits patients to offer comfort, a listening ear and the simple joy of human connection. Visits may just be talking or reading, watching TV, playing games, or just sitting quietly so no one feels alone. This may be an excellent way to share your hobbies and interests through activities.

Please note that our volunteers do not do any medical or personal care to their hospice friends. Volunteers receive full training and ongoing support from the team. Even a few hours a month can make a meaningful impact.
