Job Title: Web Designer
Position Summary
The Web Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the organization’s website and digital platforms. This role ensures that all online content reflects the organization’s mission, brand identity, and professional standards while providing an engaging and user-friendly experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the organization’s website.
- Create visually appealing layouts aligned with the organization’s branding guidelines.
- Ensure the website is responsive, mobile-friendly, and optimized for performance.
- Update website content regularly, including text, images, and multimedia.
- Collaborate with leadership, marketing, and communications teams to support campaigns and initiatives.
- Optimize website structure and content for search engines, SEO best practices.
- Monitor website analytics and recommend improvements based on performance data.
- Ensure website security, backups, and compliance with data protection standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with hosting providers when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in web design and development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems such as WordPress or similar platforms.
- Experience with Wix, Wordpress and graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar software.
- Understanding of SEO principles and website analytics tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
