Volunteer Social Media Content Creator

Calling all Changemakers, Social Media Mavens, Digital Engagement Gurus, Online Presence Pros, Content Maestros, Digital Storytellers, and Social Strategists!

Sunrise Service Dogs is looking for a detail-oriented Volunteer Social Media Content Creator to join our team. We're a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to providing training and service dogs to people with disabilities free of charge.

The Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Create and share content on Facebook, Instagram, & TikTok
• Assist in copy and content for our website
• Work with the team to verify, provide for review, and post content
• Assist in developing and running fundraising campaigns using social media tools
• Develop strategies and grow our audience and participation
• Communicate plans and schedule details using available tools and resources
• Collaborate with fundraising team to develop new strategies and ideas

Required Experience:

• Relevant experience managing social media accounts
• Able to work independently in a remote environment
• Relevant experience managing social media accounts
• Knowledge of Google Docs, Trello, and Canva
• Must be able to speak and write fluently in English
• Living along the Colorado Front Range (to be able to attend our offline events) is a plus
• Must have the ability to work collaboratively with others
• You are willing to learn or understand the difference between a service dog, therapy dog, and a pet dog
• Must love helping people and dogs

Sunrise Service Dogs is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization based in Colorado with volunteers across the United States. We work with individuals living with a disability to help them train a dog to achieve their dream of having a service dog. We remove the barriers of waitlists that are sometimes more than 5 years, and the barrier of funding by providing our services free of charge. But in order to do that, we rely on the kindness of others to financially support our mission.
