Descrição
Help Seeds of Hope achieve their mission is to seek food justice - equal, affordable access to healthy, nutritious food as they work to replace a scarcity mindset with one of abundance.
Why:
Food insecurity remains a pressing need in our community, and showing up consistently makes a real difference. By volunteering at St. Athanasius, you are directly supporting families by helping ensure fresh, healthy produce reaches those who need it most, right in their neighborhood. The work is hands-on, immediate, and deeply meaningful.
Who:
This opportunity is led by Seeds of Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and food insecurity across the greater Los Angeles area. Through partnerships with local communities and volunteer support, Seeds of Hope works to recover, distribute, and share fresh, healthy food with families in need. Their ongoing efforts help build more resilient, nourished communities.
