Descrição
Village Without Walls is a community of older adults who support each other in successful living as we age. Our local seniors live in Aloha, Hillsboro, Cornelius and Forest Grove.
We provide transportation to medical appointments, shopping and to social events for those Village members who no longer drive,
Our drivers get members to where they need to go and they also provide friendly social interaction. You get to know each member's interests and history plus become friends over time.
Drivers set their own schedule and availability.
Basic requirements for drivers are to:
- complete Village Without Walls volunteer training
- successfully complete the National Safety Council online Defensive Driving course
- pass the driver road test.
