In the final days of life, many hospice patients turn to what has always brought them comfort— scripture, prayer, and the presence of someone who believes. For many of them, something has been lost… They can no longer attend church. They can no longer sit in the pews, hear the hymns...

So instead— the church comes to them.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR FAITH-BASED VOLUNTEERS

People who feel called to serve in a simple, powerful way:

• Sit bedside with a patient

• Read scripture or a short devotion

• Pray

• Offer calm, compassionate presence

This isn’t about preaching.

It’s about presence.

Meeting someone where they are—and bringing peace into the room.

THIS IS A MISSION—RIGHT HERE AT HOME

You don’t have to travel far to serve.

Your voice, your time, your faith—

can bring comfort when it matters most.

YOU WILL BE SUPPORTED:

• Training and onboarding provided

• Guidance from our Volunteer Coordinator

• Support from our chaplain and hospice team

• Shadow visits until you feel comfortable
