Who We Are:

GlowUp ACS is a newly formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering college students who face barriers to work opportunities due to a lack of experience. We provide them with their first real-world training, helping them gain skills and confidence for the future.

Our Remote Nature (and Tech Note):

We operate entirely remotely, so having a reliable computer is essential. While we hope to provide equipment in the future through donations or grants, right now we ask that board members have a computer or laptop capable of running apps or using browser tools like Slack and Notion. We’ll provide all the necessary training—no worries there!

Who We're Looking For:

We’re currently seeking a diverse range of board members who can bring different skills to our team. Here are a few types of board members we’re especially interested in:

• Finance or Treasurer-Type Members to help us manage our financial health.
• Legal or Compliance Members to guide us through nonprofit regulations.
• Fundraising or Development Members to support our donor and grant initiatives.
• Community or Industry Liaisons to help us build relationships and outreach.
• HR or People Operations Members to assist with volunteer and internship structures.
• Tech or Operations Members to help with our digital and operational needs.
