Become a Hospice Volunteer — Bring Comfort, Presence, and Heart
Caring for a loved one is one of life’s greatest gifts — and also one of its hardest. At Oasis Hospice and Palliative Care, we recognize that caregiver fatigue is real. That’s why we’re honored to offer families a much-needed break through our Respite Week program — where loved ones can rest, knowing their family member is being cared for with the same tenderness they’d give themselves.
We’re looking for compassionate volunteers to spend time with our guests during these short respite stays. Our patients deserve more than care — they deserve connection. Volunteers help create an atmosphere of warmth, dignity, and peace.
You might share stories, read aloud, offer companionship, or simply sit together in quiet company. Every small act of kindness reminds patients and families that they are seen and valued.
No medical experience is required — just a caring heart and a willingness to show up. Training and on going support are provided.
