With the help from the AUCCville President, you will:
- Manage ~20 volunteers who are self motivated
- check their weekly work hours, and make sure they are completing tasks
- Have bi-weekly meeting with the president to share how everyone is doing
- check on the team leads, who should be productive in leading their teams towards the goals they have created
You will have the freedom to:
- Create your own structures and optimise existing structures
- Have a flexible schedule around your work or school schedule
- Request access to resources that are paid by the organization
- Choose who gets to stay and who must leave the organization (with president approval)
- Request pay in the future after performance requirements have been met

The greatest requirements for this role are:
1) The ability to check on people and create professional relationships
2) The ability to be consistent. This is a flexible role, you can take breaks for weeks at a time to focus on school or work but you CANNOT quit when things get too much, you must stay consistent. We do not accept anyone that will leave if they don’t believe they are spending enough time, there is already structure in place for you to take breaks and come right back once you are done. Leaving the organization is more damaging than taking breaks when they are needed.
— For example, the President of this chapter is also a PhD student in neuroscience with another leadership role, she may leave for a week or two weeks but she will always give out tasks before she leaves, and come right back to manage progress.
