Community builder needed for NEW EDUCATION PLATFORM! Marketing/engagement/social media

We want to connect the world to teach and learn from each other 1-to-1 in real-time. We are looking to expand our global team of volunteers to include more passionate, entrepreneurial community builders to help beta launch our live-learning platform!

8Billionminds is a social enterprise dedicated to building the world’s first global online live-learning platform. The site will connect users to teach, learn or informally share any topic they wish through an online classroom, complete with digital whiteboard, video and audio to facilitate communication between individuals from anywhere in the world. 8BM is passionate about equitable access to education and improving cultural understanding and global empathy.

The role:

• Remote part-time community building volunteer (5-hour commitment a week minimum), with weekly community building meetings and fortnightly calls with full team
• Developing/implementing our marketing strategy for beta launch and beyond
• Creating content / social media engagement / copy writing
• Reaching out to influencers / organisations / charities for partnerships
