Board Member

We are seeking dedicated Volunteer Board Members to support our nonprofit organization focused on helping K–2 students in underserved communities succeed academically and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Our organization works to close early learning gaps by providing academic support, educational resources, and community-based programs for young students and their families.

Board Member Responsibilities:

• Attend monthly board meetings
• Provide strategic guidance and support organizational growth
• Assist with fundraising, partnerships, and community outreach
• Advocate for educational equity and early literacy

Ideal Candidates:

• Passionate about improving educational opportunities for underserved children
• Experience in education, nonprofit leadership, fundraising, finance, marketing, or community engagement is helpful but not required
• Willing to contribute ideas, skills, and networks to advance the mission

Commitment:

This is a volunteer position. Approximately 4–6 hours per month, virtually. Our board meetings are one hour, once a month. Other commitments may be managed as personal schedules allow, provided all deliverables are completed on time and prepared for monthly meetings.
