Deliver Meals to Community Partners

Stone Soup PDX provides thousands of meals each week to local day centers, shelters, and schools and our volunteer drivers are integral to making sure these meals get to those who are in need of nourishing meals! Volunteers will pick up meals at Stone Soup PDX on SE Powell and drop them off at one of our contract meal sites, located in NW, SE and NE Portland.

What you need to know:

• Own vehicle required.
• Valid drivers license and current vehicle registration/insurance required.
• Some lifting of boxes up to 30lbs required.
• Stone Soup PDX does not reimburse for transportation costs (gas, etc.).

Stone Soup PDX is a nonprofit workforce training program dedicated to empowering individuals facing employment barriers by providing hands-on training in the food service industry. Through our mission-driven work, we prepare participants for sustainable careers while addressing food insecurity by providing nutritious meals to the community.

Volunteers needed Monday-Friday. Shifts begin at 10am and the final shift is at 3:15pm.
