Join us every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4-5:30pm, Friday from 9-11 am and the third Saturday of the month from 10 to 12 pm for our Work and Learn events at our Nicholtown demonstration site, Annie's House. During these recurring drop-in events, volunteers will be able to support Sustaining Way through general landscaping and garden upkeep to promote produce growth which is used to fight food insecurity in the local Nicholtown area. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, however, we ask that smaller children are accompanied with an adult. All volunteers must sign a release waiver to volunteer on-site. We provide all gardening tools necessary, but suggest you wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty, wear closed toe shoes, and bring a bottle of water.
For more information about getting involved in our Work and Learn in the Annie's House garden events, please email our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@sustainingway.com or complete the Individual Volunteer Interest Form on our website (https://sustainingway.org/get-involved/) to learn about other volunteer opportunities we currently have available.
