About SPARC
SPARC (Single Parent Alliance & Resource Center) strengthens single-parent families by advancing housing stability, economic mobility, and family well-being—because single does not mean alone.
In the past year:
217 families secured stable housing through our programs
• 100 families participated in our savings and financial stability program
• 25 children are currently enrolled in SPARC Kids Academy, with continued growth
• We will host two summer camps this year to expand youth learning and enrichment opportunities
SPARC’s programs help families move from crisis to long-term stability through housing support, financial coaching, youth development, and community engagement.
Opportunity Overview
SPARC is seeking an experienced Salesforce Admin or Architect to help design and configure a scalable Salesforce system that supports our programs, services, and impact tracking.
We currently have access to Salesforce but have not yet fully implemented it. This is an opportunity to help build a system from the ground up using:
Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP)
• Program Management Module
• Nonprofit Cloud Case Management
• Volunteer management tools (e.g., Volunteers for Salesforce)
The system will help us track how families move from housing instability to financial stability, while also managing donors, volunteers, and program outcomes.
What You’ll Do
As a volunteer Salesforce professional, you will help:
Salesforce data structure to track families, programs, donors, and volunteers
• Configure NPSP to manage households, contacts, donors, and fundraising
• Set up Program Management to track participation in programs such as housing stabilization, financial coaching, and youth development
• Configure Case Management to track services and progress for families
• Set up volunteer tracking (roles, opportunities, and hours served)
• Build dashboards and reports to track program outcomes and organizational impact
• Provide recommendations for automation, workflows, and system improvements
• Offer basic guidance so staff can maintain and use the system effectively
What Success Looks Like
A successful project will result in a Salesforce system that allows SPARC to:
• Monitor financial progress including savings and credit improvement
• Track youth participation and academic outcomes
• Manage program enrollment and participation across multiple initiatives
• Track donor engagement and fundraising performance
• Manage volunteer opportunities and participation
• Generate dashboards and reports for leadership, funders, and board members
Staff will be able to use Salesforce as a central system, reducing reliance on spreadsheets and manual tracking.
The Impact of Your Work

By strengthening our data systems, you will help SPARC:
• Measure and communicate program impact
• Strengthen reporting to funders and partners
• Scale programs that support housing, financial stability, and youth success
