    Board Member

    PeopleWorks-New Mexico seeks a Board Member with non profit experience, preferably in a mental health or health related field.

    As a member of the Board of Directors, you will help guide the strategic direction of the organization, ensure its legal and ethical integrity, enhance its public standing, provide financial oversight, and ensure mission critical initiatives are achieved. Peopleworks' viability and impact on community wellbeing is more important than ever in our changing world!

    You should posses a bachelor’s degree, Board member experience preferred, and knowledge of nonprofit management is required. Experience in a social service field is preferred.

    PeopleWorks-NM was incorporated in November 2008, and received 5013 status in April 2009. The founder and Executive Director holds a LCSW with 10 years related experience as a nonprofit program manager/division director. She was named Social Worker of the Year in 2009. Since the founding of Peopleworks, she has nearly16 years of experience as an Executive Director.

    Our VISION: Peopleworks-NM will significantly improve the mental health and wellbeing of at-risk people by providing innovative, relevant and ethical counseling services, educational programs, consultation services and any related services which address the cognitive, relational and emotional needs of people.
