Why Your Help Matters

Older adults in our community rely on regular meal deliveries to stay healthy and independent. Volunteers help ensure meals arrive safely and that no one feels forgotten.

Even a short route can have a lasting impact.

No special experience needed just reliability, kindness, and a willingness to help.

What You’ll Do

Volunteers use their personal vehicle to deliver meals to older adults within the 78207 area. Routes are organized and easy to follow, and our staff prepares everything in advance so you feel confident and prepared.

We provide:

• Delivery route and directions
• Participant names and addresses
• Contact phone numbers
• On-site support at pickup

Simple Time Commitment

Pick-Up Location:

407 N. Calaveras, San Antonio, TX 78207

(Back of the building under the pavilion)

Pick-Up Time: 10:30 AM

Route Duration: About 1–2 hours

Volunteer Credit: 3 hours of community service per delivery day

Perfect for individuals, students, professionals, and retirees.

Vehicle & Delivery Information

Meals are packed in insulated bags that are easy to load into your vehicle and leave plenty of space. One route includes a cooler. Most SUVs and 4-door cars can accommodate deliveries comfortably.

Bringing a Guest?

You’re welcome to bring someone along on your delivery route. Each guest must register and complete the Agency Volunteer Form. Please let us know everyone in your group so the route is recorded as one shared delivery.

Forms & Registration

After registering for a shift, please complete the Agency Volunteer Form. If you have already completed it for a previous shift, you do not need to submit it again.

Scheduling Notes

If a registration is declined or canceled, it may be because routes are full or the program is closed that day. Thank you for your understanding. If you sign up for a Monday shift over the weekend, please still plan to arrive unless notified otherwise.
