Spread the Word About Animal Welfare! Event Coordinator Needed

The Volunteer Event Coordinator will work closely with the team to select events, oversee, book, and arrange schedules, plan, and equipment, and collect or purchase supplies, fundraising items, and educational materials for events. The Volunteer Event Manager will also work closely with the team to staff the events or recruit more event volunteers. You get to plan where,, when, and help coordinate the entire event!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work with other OHS volunteers to review and select appropriate event venues to promote animal welfare
• Determine details, staffing needs, and potential expenses to work with the related program managers before committing to an event.
• Attend the event or assigns pick up and return of supplies, onsite event set up, staffing clean up, and photographers.
• Publicize the event through OHS media channels.
• Evaluate the event response for future educational and fundraising potential.
