    This Staff Associate Internship involves supporting mission-driven projects by conducting public record searches, collecting/analyzing data, writing reports/briefs, managing databases, and assisting with communications (presentations, social media) to further the goals of Capital Resource Connections in areas like programing, community outreach, and community development, under the supervision of the Principal Director.

    Key responsibilities include literature/publication searches, data entry/analysis, creating visualizations, drafting summaries, supporting fundraising/grant writing, and providing general administrative support, all while aligning tasks with organizational values outlined in the code of ethical conduct.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform online literature/publication searches, gather data, and perform analysis.
    • Maintain accurate and organized electronic records of all work products.
    • Draft memos, letters, reports, fact sheets, presentations, social media posts, and blog posts; create data visualizations.
    • Assist with prospective fundraising research, donor data management, and grant opportunities.
    • Assist with evaluating program effectiveness, research best practices, and support community engagement.
    • Data entry, proofreading, scheduling, and organizing research materials/source documents.
    • Assist the Principal Director with data-driven projects supporting the mission of Capital Resource Connections. (e.g., policy advocacy, community impact, fundraising).

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
    • Familiarity with relevant search methods and best business practices related to copyright usage.
    • Specific interest in the support of our local LGBTQIA+ low-income community mission and vision.
    • Superb communication and follow-up on assignments and responsibilities.
    • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and group collaboration abilities.
