The Liberty Street Market is the largest neighborhood food pantry among all Freestore Foodbank community partners. It is a choice food pantry offering our customers foods of their choice according to family composition, nutritional needs, cooking availability and tastes. Customer choices are augmented by fresh produce, pre-selected meals and personal hygiene products. Homeless clients receive special boxes with foods that can be consumed without heating.
Task: Volunteers will stock shelves with groceries, assist customers during their shopping experience, staff the check out counter and perform simple housekeeping activities to keep the market clean and customer friendly.

Free parking is available across the street from the agency while volunteering. It is in the lot with the James Brown mural and is open during our hours of operations.
