Mental Health America of Georgia Tabling Volunteer

Mental Health America of Georgia is seeking volunteers interested in tabling for our organization at outreach events. Tabling will primarily require good communication skills and a willingness to represent Mental Health America of Georgia (which includes familiarization with our mission and programs). Outreach events vary in duration, typically ranging from 1 hour to 4 hours. Events also vary in topic matter - some events are for the general public, but other events may revolve around sensitive topics such as suicide. All volunteers are expected to bring sensitivity and to respect the personal privacy of any stories you may hear at such events. Please note that a background check will be required before being able to volunteer at an event.
