Drive Seniors to Essential Appointment and Errands

Do you have extra time on your hands mid-week? Are you looking to help older adults in San Francisco simply by giving them a ride to the grocery store or a doctor's appointment? Volunteer with NEXT Village to get to know a neighbor and help older SF residents age in place!

Volunteering is ad-hoc; pick and choose what you'd like to help with.

We are especially in need of volunteers who can drive members to mid-day appointments on weekdays!

Transportation requests can include the following:

• Rides to and from doctors appointments
• Rides to and from the grocery store
• Rides to museums, parks, and other NEXT Village SF events
• A companion to join them in a taxi to the doctor (no car needed!)

These drives are all within San Francisco city limits, but our members cannot make the trip by public transportation and/ or don’t own a car. If you enjoy driving and want to make a difference in seniors’ lives, please consider volunteering with NEXT!
