Descrição
ALIVE receives donated food from several local businesses that we share with domestic violence survivors and their children.
Volunteers with an SUV needed at least once a week, Monday through Friday mornings, to pick-up boxes of food from Des Peres, Brentwood, Olivette or Bridgeton and deliver to our office in Overland. Once at our office, volunteers will unload the boxes, and package items for our clients, then bring any trash to the dumpster in the parking lot.
Volunteers must be able to lift and carry 20-pound boxes. Total time per day, including drive time, is about 2 hours. Great project to do with a friend or two!
