Position: Cat and Kitten Foster Volunteer

About Us: Our rescue organization is committed to providing a lifeline for street cats and kittens in Compton, CA. We rescue cats and kittens in various conditions, from friendly felines to those requiring medical care. Our goal is to provide temporary foster homes where these cats and kittens can thrive until they find their forever families.

Your Role: As a Cat and Kitten Foster Volunteer, you will play a vital role in our mission. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for cats and kittens in your care.
2. Offering socialization and companionship to help the cats or kittens become more adoptable.
3. Assisting with feeding, weighing, and administering any necessary medications (if applicable).
4. Communicating with our rescue team about the progress and needs of your foster cats.
5. Participating in adoption events and helping find loving forever homes for your fosters.
6. Providing pictures to post on social media and adoptable webpages.

Qualifications:

• A genuine love for cats and kittens.
• A safe and cat-friendly living space.
• Reliable transportation to take your foster cats to the vet.
• Patience, compassion, and a commitment to their well-being.
• Willingness to work with our rescue organization to ensure the best care for your foster cats.
