Volunteer Marketing & Ticketing Assistant

Under the direction of the Marketing and Ticketing Coordinator. We are seeking a dependable, enthusiastic, and creative volunteer to support our communications, social media, marketing, and seasonal activities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Monitor and help maintain the organization's Facebook page.
• Create, schedule, and share engaging social media content.
• Respond to comments and messages as directed.
• Help prepare, coordinate, and distribute the newsletter.
• Support promotional campaigns and marketing activities.
• Provide onsite media support during interviews, events, and public engagements.
• Take photos, record videos, and document activities when appropriate.
• Assist with the organization's VMO software as needed.
• Provide seasonal ticket-booth support for Santa Train events.
• Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Interest in marketing, communications, social media, or public relations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfort working onsite with staff, volunteers, media, and the public.
• Familiarity with Facebook and other social platforms.
• Reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
• Comfort learning and using software programs.
• Photography, videography, newsletter, or social media experience is an asset, but
