More Than A Field Day Volunteer Opportunity

Join MORE Social Club and help us create an unforgettable "MORE Than A Field Day" experience on Saturday, July 19th, from 11:30 AM to 6 PM at Randall's Island!

We're bringing back our signature annual event, blending childhood nostalgia with grown-up fun, and we need your help to make it a huge success. This year, as an official Social Club, we're focusing even more on connection and community, and our volunteers are essential to fostering that welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

As a valued volunteer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable day for all attendees. Your responsibilities may include:

• Game Facilitation: Help organize and run classic field day games like tug-of-war, three-legged races, and water balloon tosses. Keep the energy high and ensure fair play!
• Station Support: Assist with new additions like the Icebreaker & Intention Zones, Double Dutch + Nostalgia Games Corner, and Pop-Up Conversation Prompts. This might involve guiding attendees, explaining activities, or simply being a friendly face.
• Welcome & Registration: Greet attendees, help with check-in, and provide information about the event layout and activities.
• Logistics & Setup/Breakdown: Assist with setting up equipment and decorations before the event and packing everything up afterward.
• Information & Direction: Answer questions from attendees and help them navigate the event space.
• Enthusiasm & Engagement: Encourage participation, cheer on teams, and contribute to the overall positive and carefree vibe of the day!

Qualifications:

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are excited to contribute to a fun, community-focused event. Ideal volunteers will be:

• Energetic and Outgoing: Ready to engage with attendees and maintain a high level of enthusiasm throughout the day.
• Reliable and Punctual: Able to commit to the full volunteer shift and arrive on time.
• Team Players: Willing to collaborate with other volunteers and event organizers.
• Adaptable: Able to assist with various tasks as needed throughout the event.
• Community-Minded: Passionate about helping create a positive and inclusive environment for everyone.
• Comfortable with Physical Activity: Some roles may involve standing for extended periods or light lifting.

• Time: 11:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Volunteers may be asked to arrive slightly earlier for a brief orientation and stay a bit later for breakdown).
