We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Head of Spanish Department to lead our Spanish translating team and inspire teens to develop strong language proficiency, cultural awareness, and a lifelong appreciation for the Spanish-speaking world. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for the Spanish Department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective leadership to the Spanish Department.
• Lead, support, mentor, and evaluate members of the Spanish teaching team.
• Manage departmental resources and contribute to planning of activities or events.

Qualifications:

• Significant experience in teaching or Spanish translation.
• Proven experience in a departmental leadership or coordination role.
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Strong organisational, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, teens wellbeing, and professional excellence.
