Volunteer for Wilderness with the Selway Bitterroot Frank Church Foundation!

Join us on one of our single or multi-day trips in the Selway-Bitterroot and Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness areas to assist the US Forest Service in maintaining and opening trails for public access.

Working as a volunteer with SBFC in Montana and Idaho is one of the most rewarding wilderness experiences you can have.

May 8-10: Introduction to Trail Work & Traditional Tools, Mary McCloskey SP

Bitterroot National Forest:

July 1-8: South Fork Lolo Creek - All Women's Project

August 12-19: Big Creek Divide Trail

August 26-September 2: Big Creek Divide Trail, Session II

September 9-16: Magruder Ridge/Nez Perce Indian Trail

Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests:

May 6-13: Salmon River Trail

September 23-27: Big Fog Mountain

Salmon-Challis National Forest:

June 3-10: Loon Creek

July 29-August 5: Bighorn Crags

Payette National Forest:

June 17-24: North Fork Lick Creek

August 23-27: Hum Lake

Boise National Forest:

August 20-23: Renwyck & Antelope Trails

September 3-6: Westside Trail
