Volunteer Opportunity: Help Keep Hospice Caregivers and Patients Safe- FIT Testing Volunteers Needed

Are you looking for a meaningful way to support hospice care in your community? AccentCare Hospice is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with FIT testing for our staff, ensuring that caregivers have properly fitting respirator masks to protect themselves and their patients. This volunteer opportunity is available in both our Farmington office location and our Middlebury office location. We are seeking two volunteers for each location to join our crew!

What You'll Do:

• Conduct FIT testing for hospice staff following OSHA guidelines (training will be provided).
• Help ensure that our caregivers can safely provide compassionate end-of-life care.
• Work alongside a caring and dedicated clinical team.
• FIT testing sessions will be held for new employees every monday, while all current employees will have repeat FIT testing one time per year in the month of October.

What we are looking for:

• Volunteers who are comfortable working with healthcare staff and are organized.
• No prior experience required- we will provide a full training!
• Availability for about 1 hour each week on Mondays, plus flexibility to support all staff FIT testing in October.
