Volunteers make a difference!
By becoming a direct patient care volunteer for Grane Hospice your acts of kindness will have a great impact when our patients and families need them most. Volunteers sit with patients to provide companionship, read to patients, play cards, and can share in life review with the patient and/or family members. Our volunteers are an integral part of ensuring our patients have outstanding quality of life when time is limited by illness.
Grane Hospice volunteers are part of our care team and are provided with specialized training and ongoing support by dedicated Volunteer Program Coordinators as well as other Hospice staff.
Mileage reimbursement is offered.
