Role Description

This is a volunteer hybrid role for a Board Member at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute, based in Chicago, IL, with opportunities for remote participation. The Board Member will be responsible for providing strategic direction, offering governance, and contributing to the growth and sustainability of the Institute. Key responsibilities include attending board meetings, participating in fundraising efforts, guiding organizational planning, and supporting the mission of advancing psychoanalytic knowledge to benefit individuals and communities.

Qualifications

• Business operations and organizational strategy
• Finance and financial oversight
• Governance and board leadership
• Fundraising and strong community ties
• Experience with healthcare or treatment center operations is a plus
• Prior board membership experience or involvement in community organizations is a plus
