ONG (Setor Social)
Executive Support & Accountability Assistant volunteer (Startup Nonprofit)
Detalhes
Descrição
You will work directly with the Founder of Mommy Haven, a startup nonprofit supporting mothers and families working toward reunification, stability, and personal growth.
This is not a typical volunteer position. We are looking for someone dependable who enjoys structure, communication, and helping turn ideas into action. This role acts as both a light operations assistant and an accountability partner to help maintain steady progress as the organization grows.
This role works best for someone who appreciates routines and consistency. The assistant will check in every other day to help prioritize tasks, maintain focus, and prevent overwhelm. The goal is small, steady movement forward rather than occasional large bursts of work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct brief every-other-day accountability check-ins (message or quick call)
- Help prioritize weekly goals and deadlines
- Track tasks, projects, and follow-ups
- Send reminders and help maintain organization
- Assist with coordinating volunteers, outreach, and meetings
- Occasionally help draft emails or organize documents
- Help break large goals into manageable steps
- Serve as a consistent communication partner for the founder
This Role Is Great For Someone Who
- Loves organization and planning
- Communicates kindly but honestly
- Is proactive and comfortable following up
- Enjoys helping leaders stay focused
- Is interested in nonprofit leadership, operations, or project management
- Wants hands-on experience building a nonprofit from the ground up
