Pantry Volunteers for The Salvation Army in Akron

The pantry at The Salvation is a very relaxing volunteer opportunity. We are open from 9 AM - 1 PM from Monday - Thursday and looking for Volunteers to help!

Volunteers come to our pantry at 1033 Bellows Road and sign in. Miss Pebble will show you the tasks that need completed for the day. A sampling of those tasks are:

• label bags
• fill bags with a list of groceries
• help fill the carts with the bags
• sort and organize food
• tear down cardboard boxes
• keep the pantry clean
• unload the truck
• have fun!

This is a great volunteer experience for you if you want to come here once, weekly or monthly. It doesn't matter as we'll work with your schedule. We'd just love to have you join us!

Come and volunteer to help feed families and their children. As prices keep going UP the need for free grocery assistance goes UP.
