Ambassador

We are seeking an Ambassador that will be work with us to actively promote our events, programs, webinars, and news through social media channels, personal networking, and community gatherings. The Ambassador will be the first point of contact for people, and your goal will be to promote our happenings.

Our mission, is to support the AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) community, to thrive, through the implementation of networking, programs, resources, and tools. Our vision is to be a bridge for students across various stages of life, fields, interests, hobbies, and professional goals to engage, exchange information, and encourage collaboration, with a primary goal of each person walking away from our events having either learned something new or earned a new long-lasting connection.

This is an unpaid, volunteer opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Attend invited events such as: community meetings, networking events, etc.
• Explain our mission and vision to members of the community, and why we are a cause worth supporting
• Inspire people to support us through donations, fundraising, or thank those who have already supported us
• Make conversation with members of the community and answering questions about H.AAPI
• Represent H.AAPI in a professional and friendly manner
• Be willing to participate in photographs as a representative of H.AAPI

Qualifications:

• Enthusiastic about H.AAPI's mission and vision
• Confident in public speaking
• NYC Based Candidates Preferred
